Vanessa Aleksanyan is the founder of Pilates Plus Porter Ranch. She fell in love with the workout instantly and after seeing the amazing results she couldn’t wait to share the future of fitness with the community. Vanessa obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science from California State University, Northridge. She is certified in Lagree Fitness for Pilates Plus, traditional Pilates, the American Council on Exercise for weight training, TRX Suspension and Bosu training. Through her passion for health and fitness, she believes in offering an amazing fitness experience for the community of Porter Ranch.
It wasn’t until her early 20’s that Brie discovered health and fitness as a way to combat the stress and anxiety of college. She was an avid runner and gym junkie but it became too time consuming with school and work. Once she tried Pilates Plus in 2013, she found that nothing compared to this workout. She became addicted immediately! During the day she is a healthcare professional and by night and weekends she doubles as a Lagree fitness instructor. And she wouldn’t have it any other way. Health promotion and longevity are the goal; finding the balance of the physical, emotional and mental wellness are the avenues. Her goal is to inspire you in each and every class, while leaving your body trembling through the workouts!
Heather has been teaching Lagree fitness since 2015, but she has been taking classes here at Pilates Plus Porter Ranch almost daily for over 5 years. After practicing traditional Pilates for 7 years, she was looking for something with more cardio and to help get her back into the best shape possible after having triplets… Yes TRIPLETS! Well after her first class she fell in love and has become a Lagree fitness addict! She loves being a part of the Pilates Plus Porter Ranch family. Working with clients, hearing their stories, and helping them meet their own fitness goals is something she enjoys everyday! When not at the studio, she’s spending time with her husband, Scott, and their 8 year old triplets. Heather also enjoys cooking, traveling, entertaining and having fun with friends and family!
Adrine had always been interested in staying active. After graduating high school, she found Pilates Plus Porter Ranch where she fell in love with Lagree Fitness. The high intensity, low impact workout allowed Adrine to keep in shape physically and found Pilates Plus Porter Ranch to be a place where she is able to clear her mind. While being a student at USC, it was key for her to be able to escape the stresses of school and focus on herself in the studio. She soon took the leap from client to instructor to share her love for Lagree Fitness in order to push others beyond their own perceived limits and leave them feeling confident, strong, and healthy.
The first time Megan took a Pilates Plus class at Porter Ranch, she quickly fell in love with it and became addicted. She loves the high intensity workout and the way it targets all the muscles in your body in just one 40 min. class! A strong advocate for health and wellness, she decided to get certified in Lagree Fitness (2014) to educate others about what this effective workout and megaformer machine can do for your body! Megan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Master’s Degree in Public Health. Megan is a new mom to her son, Luke, and credits the Lagree method for keeping her in shape before, during, and after pregnancy. When asked what makes her passionate about Lagree Fitness, Megan said she enjoys getting to know her diverse clientele and creating fun and challenging routines that work on balance, muscular strength, and endurance. She is constantly inspired by her clients’ and fellow instructors’ hard work on the mega!
Shannon found Lagree in her hunt to stay fit and active after playing soccer for 17 years. It wasn’t long before she was hooked! Not only did she see amazing changes within the first few months of Lagree, but she was impressed that only 40 minutes could get her a full body, high intensity workout! Shannon’s inspiration comes from her incredible clients who support each other and the PPPR family!! When Shannon isn’t at the studio, she is traveling around the country for work or visiting friends in various states. Shannon loves being part of the Pilates Plus Porter Ranch family and strives to bring a fun and amazing workout to each and every client that walks through the door!
Kendall discovered Lagree Fitness 2 years ago through her family. After taking one class, she instantly fell in love with the workout and the method. Kendall would come regularly to classes and Lagree Fitness quickly became apart of her daily lifestyle. There are many reasons as to why Kendall learned that nothing made her body feel as confident and strong as Lagree did; between the shake, sweat and results, Lagree was irresistible! Besides from the physical results Kendall was noticing, she also started noticing mental changes as well. With juggling work, family and school, she realized Lagree helped her feel happy, safe and more in control of her life. Kendall has never experienced a workout that pushes her beyond limits, both mentally and physically, like Lagree provides. It puts her in a place of power within herself. Kendall took her love for Lagree to the next level in July of 2018 and became an official certified Lagree instructor… and she is loving it! Kendall enjoys helping, teaching and watching her clients grow through every class. She is so excited to share her love and passion for Lagree with all her clients!
Julietta took her first Lagree class over six years ago and fell in love with the full body workout she had experienced. The class not only offered an effective full body workout but it was also low-impact and safe for her joints; her joints hurting has always been a big problem with previous workout methods. Lagree Fitness was a life changer for Julietta, not only physically but also mentally. Julietta became a certified instructor in 2016 and has great passion for the workout and its results! Along with being an instructor, Julietta helps manage day-to-day tasks at Pilates Plus Porter Ranch!
